It’s with extreme pleasure that we invite you to Sniffapalooza’s Scents & Tastes of the Season on Madison on Sunday, December 13, 1:00pm – 5:00pm!
We’ve chosen NYC’s most luxurious street, Madison Avenue, for our sensorial journey, and the focus of the event is the aromas and flavors of the holiday season! We are offering an Open House format at the stores, so you can leisurely sniff and taste your way across this glittering thoroughfare!
Lladro, the iconic Spanish porcelain brand, welcomes us to experience their new collection of home fragrances, Heavenly Dreams. There is a place in Valencia where time stands still to make way for dreams… The kind of place the founders, Juan, Jose and Vicente Lladro, dreamed of when they started firing their first porcelain back in 1953. Over sixty years later, Lladro still creates all their pieces by hand in its only factory in the world – a factory of dreams made in porcelain that now exports their magnificent creations to 120 countries and yet has never stopped being a crafts workshop: the biggest little atelier in the world! Join Cristina Egido as she guides us on a tour of the rich history of this exquisite brand, and invites us to inhale the three incredible memory-provoking scents: Gardens of Valencia, Mediterranean Beach and I Love You, Mom. Special presentations will occur at 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00pm. We all know Annick Goutal as the amazing French fragrance house and creator of exquisite perfumes for body, bath and lifestyle. Now we are invited to step inside their scented world at their newest Manhattan boutique for a closer look at the history and legacy of this stellar brand. Pairing fragranced items from Annick Goutal’s prolific range with delectable cocktails inspired by the fragrances, the goal is to give a multi-sensory experience that embodies the relationship between taste and smell in a unique way. There will be three special presentations – at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30pm – and delicious edibles to nibble. Francoise Alessi will give a brief overview of the brand, and then speak about each fragrance and the pairing process. After the presentations, there will be plenty of time to sniff and sample the full Annick Goutal range, and to chat with the team. As a special token of appreciation, there will be a generous discount on all purchases and samples to take home!
In the next week, we will be adding another elegant boutique to our festive itinerary, creating even more opportunity to explore the sensory delights of Madison Avenue. Delicious details to follow!
