Pros:
Complex, delicious, classy
Cons:
EDT doesn't last nearly long enough
Probably one of the most beautiful perfumes ever, even better than Joy. It is complex and very sophisticated, defying description. It's not obviously chypre, to me at least. It's floral with a little edge. I hope it's around forever.

Pros:
Rich, sophisticated, unusual
Cons:
Very "old money"
Patou's 1000 is very hard to classify. It has muted, almost dessicated florals and herbs on what I perceive as an animalic/leathery base. It conjures for me an image of an older woman in a Chanel suit and pearls, and has a kind of eternal quality about it.
