Poivre Piquant is a fantastic pepper fragrance. It is inspired by an Indian wedding tradition which is to combine sugar to make life sweet (the honey and milk notes) and pepper to make life burning with passion (the pink and white peppercorn notes). This fragrance is not that sweet to me, i think its more on the spicy pepper side. but there is a certain creamy smoothness to it. its a great balance. i really love this fragrance.

Pros:
unique spicy opening, settles into a sweet heart anchored with ambre
Cons:
Like most of L'Artisan, seems to me to need a bit more staying power.
A contradiction of thoughts, Poivre Piquant is a unique peppery-sweet scent somehow remniscient of Bellogdia to me as the carnation aura is rather peppery. Not for everyone, a highly individual fragrance for the flirtatious and free-spirited woman.
