London Event: A Perfume Fit for a Queen

From our friends at Grossmith:

Grossmith’s Tribute of Fragrance: A Perfume Fit for a Queen
Tuesday 17 July, 18.15 – 19.45
Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens, London W8 4PX

In 1897 perfume makers Grossmith created a ‘Victorian bouquet’ in commemoration of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. Now Grossmith’s current owner, Simon Brooke, will tell all about this ‘rare collection of exotic odours culled from the flora of the British Empire’. You will also have the opportunity to smell Grossmith’s ‘remastered’ perfumes and to examine examples from their archive of heritage bottles, advertisements and perfume cards.

£12. Book online at www.hrp.org.uk/adultlearning or call us on 0844 482 7799.
