Explore the opulence of the Perfumed Court, where towering wigs were powdered with violet, and courtiers lavished themselves and their silks,satins and brocades with luxurious fragrance. Flutter a fan of violet and orris while viewing works of 18th century artists, listening to period music, and reading French poetry while blending notes (including orange blossom, tuberose and jasmine) found in a perfume vial of Marie Antoinette.
