Sniffapalooza celebrates fragrance as an art, and we strive to create experiential events where we can explore the olfactive universe with kindred spirits who share our passion. And we particularly love to combine fragrance with other sensorial pursuits to heighten our awareness and appreciation! It is with great pleasure that we announce our premiere Sniffapalooza Salon: Fragrance, Art & Design, to be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
We are invited into the amazing, design-filled Soho loft of the Honorable Jack Faxon – Senator, teacher, historian, explorer, and artist. He takes us on a journey through his travels, illustrated by the art, antiques and artifacts he has collected along the way that represent various periods, cultures and styles. And to add a fragrant twist, we’ve paired Jack’s magnificent collection with perfumes that interpret them by mood, provenance, ingredients or craftsmanship!
In our perpetual quest to bring you the most fantastic scented experiences, Sniffapalooza has created an event that combines the art and science of fragrance to give you an incredible whiff of sensory exploration, education, and self-reflection on Sunday, February 23rd, in NYC! We will venture beyond the perfume bottle to understand how the chemical aspects of perfumery affect our smell perception, preferences, and link to our personality traits. Because at Sniffapalooza we don’t just enjoy wearing scent – we love how it makes us feel and think, how it has the power to transport us, and how it is infused in every moment of our lives!
