Typical Portuguese neighborhoods have always been the heartbeat of social life. Especially the barbershops. Gentlemen with top hats and impeccable suits ventured out for their daily shaves and local news. Badger brushes, knives and shaving cream were the old tradition, now revived by the fragrances of Antiga Barbeira de Bairro. Luis Pereira presented this new line to us at Barbearia Campos, the oldest barbershop in Lisbon. It’s an amazing place with a tonsorial museum and antique barber instruments. As you can see, the men in our travel group certainly enjoyed their hot towel shaves!
